These Terms govern your use of Findy. They are written in the product's own voice: plain language, short sentences, no unnecessary legalese. By using the service, you agree to what's here.
1.Acceptance
By creating an account or using Findy, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with something, don't use the service.
2.The service
Findy stores the documents you upload, organizes them automatically with artificial intelligence — title, summary, dates, category and issuer — and lets you search and ask questions in natural language, with answers that cite the exact passage from your own documents.
Findy is in an early stage and free for now. If we ever charge for it, you will be told well in advance — no surprises.
3.Your account
- You must provide accurate information at sign-up and keep it up to date.
- Your credentials are personal and yours to safeguard; you are responsible for the activity on your account.
- The service is intended for people aged 18 and over.
4.Your content
Your documents are yours. You keep all rights to the content you upload. You grant us only a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process (including through the AI processors described in the Privacy Policy) and display that content to you, to the extent needed to operate the service. That license ends when you delete the content or close your account.
5.Acceptable use
You may not:
- upload illegal content;
- upload other people's documents without the right to do so;
- attempt to access other people's accounts or data;
- overload, reverse-engineer or resell the service;
- use the service to violate anyone's rights.
6.AI answers
Findy's answers are generated by artificial intelligence and always come with the source passage, so you can check. Even so, they may contain errors or omissions.
Findy does not provide legal, medical, accounting or financial advice. For important decisions, always check the original document — that's exactly what the receipt is for.
7.Availability and early stage
The service is provided "as is". Because it is in an early stage, we may change, suspend or discontinue features. We will make a reasonable effort to give advance notice of meaningful changes and to let you export or retrieve your files.
8.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law — and without prejudice to Brazil's Consumer Protection Code, where it applies — Findy is not liable for indirect damages, missed deadlines, lost profits, or decisions made on the basis of AI answers without checking the cited source.
Findy's total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the last 12 months or, for as long as the service is free, at BRL 100 (one hundred Brazilian reais).
9.Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. On your side, everything is self-service: you can delete any document in the app at any time — and the whole account under Account → Delete account, with a double confirmation. Deletion is permanent; residual copies in backups expire within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion can also be requested via the contact listed there.
10.Findy's intellectual property
Findy's brand, code, design and mascot belong to Findy. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.
11.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Meaningful changes will be announced by email or inside the product, with the effective date shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.
12.Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of the district of São Paulo, SP are elected as the venue — except for consumer relations, where the courts of the consumer's own domicile apply.
